I think my brother who is in TN takes his inside in the winter & it seems fine.

I got 3 inch pots of fuschia at Mann's Greenhouse in Hickory Flat (between Woodstock and Canton). I don't know if these are miniature ones or not, but they are darn cute.

I've never had any luck with them;it was just too darned hot in the summer. That being said, if you do get them to do well,please let me know how you did it!! I love the look, but I don't have a greenhouse to control temperature and humidity.......

Yes, I always heard they don't do well in the Southern heat and humidity. There are more and more kinds available though, so either they are types which can take the humidity or we are just supposed to enjoy them until July.....
Gartenmeister Bonstedt, a dark-leaved, orange, single flower is supposed to be able to take our climate. I have tried it and it does fine, but it is just not the same as the 'complicated' multi-colored ones.
