Wildflower planting

We are planning a wedding for next Spring/summer and want to plant about an acre of wildflowers to hold the ceremony in. I have done some minor research, but would love the opinion of vetran gardeners, as we want to ensure the flowers are in bloom :-). Anybody have advice on fall over spring planting? Should we stick to annuals or do a mix?

Wildflowers need to be planted at different times. For spring, wildflowers such as oxeye daisy, batchelor buttons, poppies, nigella, blue flax, butterfly weed...need cold temps (or they take a while to come to flower) to germinate so you plant them in Dec-early Jan.
Others like to be planted in spring such as cosmos, zinnias, helenium etc.
