Xenon lighting

We are remodeling our kitchen & electrician wants to use

Xenon lighting for under cabinet lighting. I am concerned

with their efficiency and heat given off by them. Any

experience with them? I'm thinking of continuing with

florescent. thanks.nancy

we have xenon lighting under our cabinets. I really like it. It doesn't get very hot at all and it is very energy efficient. The lights are EXPENSIVE tho! Our cost 40 dollars each when the flourescents were about 20 each. It doesn't get hot like halogens.
I am not sure how the efficiency compares to that of flourescent lights, but I think the xenon lights give off nicer light.
