Killing weeds organically

I lived in downtown Atlanta where the sidewalks are made of bricks. These bricks old at least 75 years old. The weeds are growing in between them. I am tired of pulling weeds. Someone told me if you spray them with vinegar that should kill them. Does anyone know if this is true if not does anyone have any other ideas?

I've seen a weeder for cement cracks that was like a butane torch! You just burn up the weeds. I'm not sure if vinegar would work.

I have several hundred feet of sand-laid brick sidewalks. Vinegar will eliminate all but the toughest weeds. I don't use RU or other herbicides because I have flower borders next to the sidewalks. Vinegar is cheap. It breaks down quickly and it is effective. I use a punp sprayer and a spray bottle. Buy a jug and give it a try.
