Yes, I told myself that last year ... and it DID look better this year. Now I can't wait to see how much better it looks next year!

I tend to plant smaller sizes of things, so I usually have to tell myself that each time. I just relocated some daylilies (terrible time to do it), so they look pretty beaten. But at least I can cut them back after they finish flowering and get a new flush of foliage.

Can you share a picture or two of what you've done?

esh I plant very small plants for the most part, I also did the same to some Plum Perfect Daylilies. dug them up and moved them just as they were starting to bud out. Now they look very angry with me. But they will be happier in this spot so I justify.

I keep meaning to take some photos but then I think things look so small this year. But I will take some if it doesn't rain all day tomorrow.

Here is the bed I finished last weekend, including the poor tortured Plum Perfect daylilies in the front. It all looks kind of blah now, but 'next year...'

BTW those are various other daylilies and one Gaura plant in the corner. Then 3 August Beauty Gardenias (behind the daylilies, followed by ruby Queen 9dwarf) wegelias with silvermound in front, then more daylilies. (those little stumps on the far right end just came from Oakes last week and have already grown about 5 inches and are putting out buds) See what I mean "next year..."
