Our Japanese Blood Grass looked so ratty (again) this year that a few weeks ago I dug it up & moved it to the front of our house, next to the driveway. Here, in its new home, it gets more water because we're downhill from the neighbours & they water their front lawn regularly.

It's already looking a lot healthier, though the neighbours will get the best view of when it's lit up from behind by the late afternoon sun. But seeing they are supplying the water that it needs, I think it's going to be a fair exchange.
