Lots of bees

This morning when I took my walk-about I heard the sound of bees in the watermelon patch and the same when I went to the pea patch. Such a sweet sound. Up until now I had only seen a few, but guess they did their little bee dance and told the others.

the bumblebees are everywhere here now that the anise hyssop, border speedwell and achillea are blooming. it's weird, i rarely see bees around here, but i with there were more. my parents are lucky - there is a hive living in a tree behind their house, and their citrus trees are amazing every year!
