My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I've never grown it before, and have acquired a few seeds, but I've heard conflicting stories about when to harvest them. Am I supposed to harvest them when the vine dies, or before? Also, do I need fertilizer?
It will be fairly obvious when to harvest luffa. The fruit gets dry and feels feather light. I usually don't get around to harvesting until after frost.
I have never fertilized, and mine produces like crazy. But this is not to say that, perhaps, a good side dressing of compost might not help.
