Hi - I recently purchased a property in zone 7 which was completely inundated with Ivy. I'm in the process of removing it using various methods, mainly a Bobcat & Rake. I've also been been covering large areas with deep freshly cut wood chips over the areas that I'm pulling it out.

I was curious whether anyone has had success in removing this from their property and if so, what they did? Also, I want to plan in the areas where the Ivy was, any advice?

Is there any ground covers that will compete with Ivy? Thank you in advance.
