Oh it's simply awful. I could care less if they feed on the grass, just PLEASE don't poop everywhere!!!
And they do and my dogs love to eat the poops. Guhross. They ate half of one of my boxwood shrubs but left everything else alone. I posted about this in the pests forum if you do a search there for rabbit or for my post entitled "Wabbits" with a "W" you'll find the link to previous posts with tips.

Bloodmeal will keep them away. You can find Epsoma brand at Pike's or Lowe's.

Twinkle, if I use the bloodmeal, do I sprinkle it over the whole grass area or what? Do I have to re-apply it when it rains or after I cut the grass??

How practical can that be? I get the general idea but a small box is like $4 and why wouldn't it fade away?

I just sprinkle a little around here and there - no need to coat the entire area. You could sprinkle just at the edge of your woods. I just use it in my flower beds. Once they get used to lunching somewhere else, you can stop.

Why not get them some Timothy hay and carrots and put it in an area that would not bother you. They would be happy and then so would you. It would take a while to eat all the hay. It is good for them as well. Good luck!

I love the rabbits in my yard and hate them when they eat my plants, but I'm not sure I'd want to give them anything that's good for them. They multiply like, well, rabbits.

My rabbits ignore my decoy carrots. I've lived in this part of Atlanta for almost a decade, and we've never had rabbits before.

Just get a pet coyote....that'll fix the problem lol.

Fortunately out here in the country, the coyotes keep the rabbits in check and the Winchester keeps the coyotes in check. That thar's what ya' call a balanced ecosystem (just kidding).
