I like it alot. It goes great with a purple clematis. I over wintered it a couple of years in my garage but it didnt make it back this year. So I just got a little 4 inch pot from Pikes for $2.00, and I'm growing a couple from seed. Takes no maintenance, grows about maybe 8 ft and I've grow them in sun and part sun...bobby

I say go for it, as they are great in the SOuthern heat and you can get cultivars that are more tur orange or a more cheerful canary yellow.

It's pretty in a hanging basket too.

My first time with these vines. I started some from seed and have planted them outside. They are very healthy looking and beginning to climb up the trellis.

I believe they were started about May 2 and have been outside about a week; mostly dappled shade with maybe two hours of direct sun early afternoon.

Can someone suggest an approximate time before they begin to bloom?
