I know gourds will climb like monkeys. But, what about your heavier gourds? I'm growing African Winebottles for the first time. Could anyone tell me if these gourds can climb successfully, or will the fruit be too heavy and snap the vine? I have them by our crossfence, so they have the option to climb or run on the ground. I'd like to do both!
