We had very strong winds and a few raindrops - a mist really - here beside Kennesaw Mountain. Yesterday we had a deluge for about an hour.

We had hail this afternoon too. It was M&M sized.

A turtle came out, made a hole in my newly made flower bed, and it has been few hours that she has parked her behind in that hole. I have a feeling we will have lotsa babies!

Hail? Rain? Storms? We had about 2 minutes of 'rain' yesterday and about 4 minutes of 'rain' and high winds this evening, and that been about it in Sandy Springs.

We did get some rain later last night. I got up early today to water and everything was wet.

Heavy rain and nickle size hail last night. This morning I checked the garden and found the hail had knocked most of our still green grape tomatoes off the vines. Other damage to vegetables and flowers was not too bad. Tomato plants seemed to get the worst of it. Better Boys and Brandywines lost a few branches and looks like some bruising on fruit. But it was so nice getting some rain, who can complain about a little hail damage?

Yes, hail in Duluth. And lots of rain! Woo hoo!

We got about an hour and a half of a steady rain here in Athens. I am soooooo happy. It was after I added new mulch to my most thirsty bed too.
