Phyla nodiflora aka Frog Fruit

I love this little charmer, but have always kept it in pots. I am now wondering if it would be a good native ground cover around my veggies to help keep the soil moist and hopefully choke out some weeds. I just don't want it to choke out my veggies! thanks

Consider using it elsewhere. As a perennial it won't do well when its annual neighbors are yanked every season.

For veggie gardens, consider compost or straw.
