My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I've not really been able to find out much information about which Datura and Brugmansia will survive our mild Georgia winters. I had a Brugmansia aurea, but it died last winter. Which species are hardy in Atlanta?
Sunsnail, Plant Delights nursery in North Carolina sells hardy brugs and daturas to Zone 7b. (You can easily find their website by typing their name in Google.) I bought one from them, a Double White brug. Good luck!
I live 25 miles east of Atlanta and my brugs will live over winter if I cut them back to about 5 inches before the first frost, cover with a pot and mulch good with leaves or straw. Put the cut off parts in water in the garage or house and they will root and you will have some new plants. Your brug should emerge from the roots after the soil warms up in spring. My moon bush datura comes back from the roots each spring. They are easy to grow from seed. There is a lady near me who roots and sells Brugs for $10.00. she has most colors.
I ditto what aprilfool writes and I am in Roswell. I do not save my cuttings, dont need anymore, anyone interested in them please email me and I will put you on a list to notify when I cut back. I have the basic colors of white, yellow and peach. I only have brugmansias.
