I have Pachysandra 'Green Sheen' and it's just gorgeous. Everyone that sees my garden asks about it:

Unfortunately, I didn't realize I should have been trimming it thru the years and it got very leggy (stems 18" long!)

So this Spring (early) after reading various opinions, I cut one section back hard to 3". Possibly a mistake. It's coming back, but very S-L-O-W-L-Y and I've had to remove alot of weeds.

Since I have another area that needs to be trimmed, I'm wondering if I should trim it back a little at a time over a couple yrs. Advice anyone?
