I have thalictrum kusianum (sp?), the woodland thalictrum. I had to get it from North Carolina. Have never found a local nursery that sells it. I don't know if that's because it doesn't do well here or because it's just one of those plants nurseries don't typically carry. It doesn't thrive for me, but it does come back every year and has such beautiful tiny flowers that I keep it. Also it looks good on the woodland floor and doesn't have to earn a place in a border. It certainly stops blooming this time of year, but again, I don't know if that's natural or a reaction to the heat. Have never had it go dormant in summer.
