Totally dropping grass after planting

Yesterday I bought a 3 gallon Cosmopolitan Silver Grass (Miscanthus Sinensis Cosmopolitan),from Lowes that is at least 2-3 feet tall.

I planted it today, and watered it real good and mulched it.

It totally drooped, all the blades of grass are on the ground. It looks bad.

Will the long blades stand up again?

Is there anything I can do for it?

Should I continue to water it daily? Will that help?

It's dark,so i can't post a photo right now.

My guess is your zone 8 garden has a different climate than the indoors (sort of) Lowes garden department.

Keep watering it, every couple of days if you have no rain.

If you have it in a full sun location, give it a little shade in the afternoon. A lawn chair or something between it and the sun will do.
