I have 'KF,'Overdam' and 'Avalanche,' but no 'ElD' yet. It sure is a good looking grass, judging from Google Images. I'll have to source some.

Most of the resources indicate they are pretty close to the same size as 'KF.'

I just noticed your zone. OUCH! I'd contact Bluestem.ca and get their take on it's potential success in the Arctic.

Thanks, donn. These Calamagrostis are all nice & hardy here. I'm just thinking of replacing one of my 'KF' with the lovely new 'Eldorado', but I don't want to sacrifice any height.
