I planted 6 little rootless pieces about a year ago (got it from a "friend"). Now, I may never get rid of it. It has spread to a solid 10 x 6 foot area in a year! It's on a bank (not fun trying to dig it up, and roots go deep) but am afraid it will come down and get into flower beds and lawn. Looks like there's no stopping it.

Grows only about 2 inches tall, spreads by running, putting down roots every 3-4 inches, similar to the way devil's grass does. Rooting stems do mat in time. Beautiful bright lime-ish green little tiny leaves 1/4" x 1/2" long. It's covered with lovely pink flowers that look like little balls about 3/8" diameter. Attracts many bees.

Anyone have a clue?
