Wow.... just wow.... I am imPRESSED!

I use a detail master woodburner thats it. I didnt use any dyes or stains. Taught myself how to do at the beggining of last summer as an off shoute of my sophmor sculpture class.

This year Im a senior and have the opportunity to take three art classes

Very, very good work, lueddemanniaia! I am also a gourd artist but I specialize in carving and fretwork and some painting. I was entered into the Georgia Gourd Society Show last weekend and won several ribbons. I have a Optima dual burner but don't seem to have time to do much practicing on it. Keep up the good work.

Wow! your work is beautiful. So.... the dark background of the gourds are all burned in? That's a huge lot of work and hard to get consistant color!! What pen tip are you using for the background burning? What tips do you like for the detail? Thanks.
