I'm not sure, but the leaves look like a type of sedum (not sure about the blooms). If so, in general this is a hardy, low-maintenance, easy plant. It spreads nicely, is drought-tolerant, propagates easily, takes full sun and heat like a trooper, and in my CT garden I have a variety that turns a beautiful burgundy color throughout the winter. I don't know about foot traffic though - I would think it wouldn't take traffic too well, so if you're planning on walking on your "lawn", I'd think twice.
