saving a pelargonium

I have one (geranium/pelargonium) in a strawberry pot along with 3 small succulents that I will be potting up to bring in the house this fall. Has anyone tried bringing a pelargonium in side as a house plant? I have read of other ways of saving, that is leting them go dormant, but I am only interested in saving it if it can live in the house as a houseplant. Ideas, anyone?
