Gardeninggirl, The Georgia Perimeter Native Plant Garden is having their "Fern Madness" sale, "Largest Fern Sale in the USA" they say; August 24, 26, and 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The gentleman who started this garden (George something) is a huge fern aficionado and they are sure to have something you like. This garden is on the Panthersville Perimeter College campus in Decatur. The website address has a wavy line in it so I don't know how to type it out. I found it by going to Georgia Native Plant Society's website (gnps.org) and clicking on links, and getting to it that way.

They have great sales; I've been there before where I got a ruby spice clethra for about $6 or $7. I plan to go on Sept. 16 or 17 when they will have a wider sale--perennials, shrubs, trees & ferns--to try and find clethra, itea and/or calycanthus and maybe a perennial (agastache tutti frutti I think they had last year--should've gotten it!) depending on how much money I have.

Thanks. I went to the fern sale this morning at GPC. Got some Southern Wood Fern & Variegated Holly Fern. I didn't have time to look around but it sure looked nice from what I could see. I'll definately make a return trip. I've been meaning to check that place out.
