my oldest girl knocked my big max pumpkin off the vine today.i have never tried to keep a pumpkin for more than a month after i took it from the vine and its only the 21st of august is there anyway to save it for longer it is 50lbs and its bright orange i have it in a corner of my house coverd and kept cool i still have 3 on vines that are about 40lbs each and about 5 25lbs maybe more this 1 thats off is my baby im almost heart broken if i cant save it a friend wants the guts for pies and i want all the seeds any thought will help thank you
