At an art show this weekend, I saw a 'sculpture' which was a painted gourd with glass eyes etc. Didn't care for the sculpture, but the gourd was fascinating.

Long curved neck about 2" diameter 1' long and a ball head about 7" diameter with many ridges and spikes protruding from it. Really monsterous in appearance.

Can anyone tell me what kind of gourd this might be? and where I might get some seed for it to try next year?
