Hi all,

I'm new to the pumpkin world and this forum so please forgive me if this is a no-brainer.

My pumpkin patch (about 15 plants) has been effected by slugs, vine borers and fungus. Talk about bad luck. Practically overnight everything started dying. I have about 30 large beautiful pumpkins that I don't want to lose!

Should I leave them on the vine as long as possible or harvest them early and hope they don't rot? I have an orange variety and a white variety. Only a couple of the orange pumpkins have actually got hints of orange. They are mainly green.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
