I bet a Cushaw seed got mixed in with your other seed. I'll put a link in, below, about the Green Striped Cushaw. There are some with longer necks than what you'll see in the link.

I am growing a White Cushaw, which is very similar apart from the color. The Cushaw is from a different species of squash than your others. So, if you like it, you can save seed. I've never had one cross with any other species of squash.

You have probably already noticed that this plant gets BIG! I've seen some of these have vines which reach 50'.

I intend to grow Cushaw every year. It is even more insect resistant than those from the butternut family (c. moschata).
