How big was the pumpkin? If it was dark green or starting to turn orange I think you will be okay. But if it was small and pale green it may not make it. Hopefully you will be okay, I can say that pumpkins are excellent survivors. I have seen pumpkins with giant fist size holes in them that have healed over and continued growing. Also I have seen vines that have been severed by tractor tires only to have the rest of the vine support the plant with the secondary roots so hopefully a partially broken stem is no big deal.

And just because I am curious what was the fruit tree spray for?

Thanks! The pumpkin has been orange for about two months now. It is about the size of a basketball.

The fruit tree spray was to kill some sort of fungus that has infected the leaves of the vine. Same symptoms as the other recent thread(s) re vine damage.

I use fruit tree spray on just about everything. Might be frowned upon now. At least it's not Sevin. :)
