Oh my goodness, I don't know! Your picture made me laugh. I'm on my first pumpkin plant this year, and it IS very large. If yours approaches the house, you should call the authorities.

You are a nice grandma to do that for your granddaughter. Maybe she can take a pumpkin to school to share (if she's of that age).

They are for decorations at her wedding. Not too much pressure.

Yes, those do look healthy! What is the date of your granddaughters wedding? Just watch for the powdery mildew. I am never sure how to prevent that from happening! Also pumpking need a lot of watering from what I read and what I'm told but I'm no expert! I wasnt going to plant them this yr (I did plant the mini pumpkins which are doing alright) but I'm going to make a last ditched effort to grow some pumpkins being as it's been such a warm summer and other people are having bad luck w/ the pumpkins coming in too early! I don't have anything to lose, I figure! lol!

The wedding is mid-October. Illinois is one of the drought states so hubby & I have watered a lot. Extra dirt on the vines in the garden part of the patch has certainly helped. (No extra dirt in the grassy part.) Fortunately we've gotten some rain - enough to kept the pumpkins happy.

Since they are already white, I just hope I can recognize when the pumpkins are ready to harvest.
