The pumpkins this year will look like the varieties you planted no matter what pollinates what.

Its next year's seeds that come up strange when you have crossbreeds.

Chances are that those two are of different species and will not cross. The tiny pumpkins which I recall are c. pepo, while the Atlantic Giant is a c. maxima. If you have neighbors growing squash from either of these species you would want to hand pollinate, just to preserve pure seed for next year. But if you aren't concerned about pure seed, hand pollination would not be necessary.

yeah well i have no neighbors and all, we just moved into a new neighborhood with only 6 houses, and the closest person next to me that is growing anything is about a mile away? They are growing watermelons though so that shouldn't be a problem, but i will hand pollinate them and see what happens
