Easy low growing ornamental grass suggestions...

I'm looking for a few perminent, low growing grass suggestions for full sun. In particular I want to plant them along my "hell strip" by the post boxes.

Need grass that can handle drought, or lots of rain, can take hot baking sunshine, HUMIDITY, zone 8, and will be longer lasting than say blue fescue...

Would prefer 3' and under.

I'm no expert, but I'd bet Bermuda will take those conditions a lot better than fescue. Bermuda's low, loves full sun, and seems to like the heat a lot more than fescue, which seems to prefer cooler weather and shade.

3' or 3"?
I'd suggest trying pennisedum 'little bunny' / Mulenbergia aka Mulhy grass or Mexican feather grass if your looking for 3'
