How did you try to grow it? Seeds? Root cuttings? Where do you get them?

from Iowa... the whole root... I think they need really cold weather like IA. i could try to dig deeper this time.

I grow mine from roots that I got at Olive Forge Herb Farm in Haddock GA (outside of Milledgeville). Mine is doing much too well! It came up in multiple raised beds and I've since transplanted it to other locations where it's thriving despite lots of beetles eating the leaves. If you were close, I'd offer you some!

I haven't had any luck with horse radish.. I had some transplants from a friend & I guess it was my fault for not taking care of the roots when I had them. They started to grow & then just died. I don't think i'll plant any in my garden next year.
