Just moved to Georgia from Oak Park, IL: moved to a subdivision with HOA. I hope they don't fine me for non-compliance for pruning the shrub next to the garage entrance into a non-ballshape. (I couldn't get my van in the garage, the "ball" was too big and I hate rounded shrubs.)
I am cleaning up the yard, especially the underbrush in the mini forest in the back. Allied Waste charges $15/pick-up for the yardwaste: too much for me. So I dumped the clippings into two piles into the back corners for now. I've never composted before: I'm not good at turning over, wetting, etc a pile. Should I just leave these piles? What do y'all do down here for yardwaste removal?
