Shorter grass selections for sun

Hi,

I have a few really tall grasses, and shorter ones I grow are Blue fescue and sweet flag (which isnt even a true grass.) I'd like to try a few that dont grow over 15 inches tall and can be planted in front or middle of the border. Moisture average to dry. I am planning a few mixed beds next spring and need some suggestions. Thank you!
