upside-down marble walk and veilchenblau in bloom

I finally had some digital pictures and couldn't figure out how to post except on an obscure section of gardenweb called "Garden Galleries" (it's not any of the garden gallery forums). Anyway, check out this link:

http://photos.gardenweb.com/garden/galleries/proud_projects/

and you'll see two pictures showing the walk to my house made last year and early this year: I delineated it with brick obtained from freecycle, and the stepping stones are upside-down marble pieces obtained from the dumpster in front of a countertop making company - it's great stuff.

Also in Garden Galleries, under "Roses I have Loved" you'll see a giant veilchenblau in full bloom (June). You can't see the sweetness of the little blue flowers as well as they appear in person but this gives you an idea of the scope. There aren't enough veilchenblau bush in bloom pictures ANYWHERE on the web as far as I'm concerned and I'm glad to contribute one.
