i checked out the given link above, but was not successful, due to the requirement of being a member. however, i did find this link. doesnt seem to be any festivals in florida.

Sassie, you don't have to be a member of that site to access their festivals. I just went on the site and there are about 3 pages of sites in Florida in March. I'm not familar with cities close to Ft. Myers, so can't tell you much about these towns. BTW, the festivals listed are not strictly for gourds but they might have gourd art there.
