How long were the plumes up on the Eragrostis? It looks like they faded considerably. Anyway, I love eragrostis spectabilis and trichodes. I have them growing in mass plantings on hillsides and in production blocks.

They are first year seedlings, and aren't growing in the best of conditions. This pic shows how the row being most shaded by the PurpleTop is behind in plume development.

I hope the shading doesn't impair seed development, but I've got 16 clumps there, and another 15 in 3" plant bands, so I can always divide my way to masses.
