Hi--We're relandscaping our front yard and want to put in several ruby grasses (Melinis nerviglumis) along the new path. We have some in the back yard that I'm thinking of dividing. Can anyone advise me on how big a piece I need to get a viable new plant? None of the nurseries around here seem to have any plants to buy, so I'd like to make as many new plants as I can from the existing ones. And if anyone can recommend a source to buy some this time of year, that would be great too.
