While I was moving my Dill's Giant Pumpkin into the back of the van, I accidentally wounded it. I put a small cut into the front side. It's about 3 inches long and 1/8" wide. It doesn't go too deep, but it certainly breaks the skin.

Is there anything I can seal it with to try to preserve it and prevent rot? This thing's got to last 31 more days!
