Cross Post - Name That Grass!

This is cross-posted from the Florida Gardening Board. Looking for any help I can get!!

Can someone tell me the name of that giant ornamental grass with the big, fluffy white plumes?? You see it a lot in medians and larger landscaped areas. I've searched thru different grass websites and can't really find it. Looks like a pampas grass, but fluffier plumes. I have seen it anywhere from 5 to 8 feet tall, plus the plumes.

I think it would make a perfect backdrop in some of my garden areas. My 2 local nurseries (HD and Lowe's - big choices) have no clue.

Saccharum maybe? There are several varieties, and some have pretty fluffy plumes. This is S. spontaneum:

I think I am going to have to go with Pampass grass. The pics I have found are similar, but not exact.
Now I just have to find somewhere to buy it.

If you're looking for pampas grass, you should find it at most nurseries in Florida.

If you want to stand out from every other Fl landscape, try a Miscantus or Erianthus grass instead of the pampas. Or if you want a pampas more controllable, try a dwarf pampas (cortaderia pumila). You can mail order if you can't find it locally. Try Santa Rosa Gardens, High Country Gardens, or Plant Delights.
