They usually have specimen size JM's

There is a nursery that specializes in Japanese Maples in Gwinnett. It's on Rogers Bridge Road east of Peachtree Industrial. I can't remember the name, but they have wonderful maples and evergreens.

I guess that would be Bannister Creek Nursery, buford.

Thanks esh, I couldn't remember the name. I bought a small waterfall maple there and it's doing great. It's a fun place to just walk around it because they have such a different variety of shrubs and trees.

Thanks for all the nursery suggestions. I deal with Pike Wholesale and they are the ones that won't be getting any from their sources in Oregon until their leaves fall off and they can be dug. I have wanted to visit Home Place and Bannister Creek but haven't yet. Bold Spring N. I have not heard of. Thanks; this will keep me busy checking out what they have for awhile.

You can see their inventory on their website. The latest mailer showed they have a bunch of specials on JM's. They're are still a few hundred bucks a piece though. Just FYI, Pikes Whol gets a lot of trees from them I'm told. (talking about bold spring)

Greenhouse Nursery on Covington Hwy east of Decatur has lots of specimen sized Japanese Maples, as well as lots of smaller hard-to-find varieties.
