Here in buford the sun is shining so enjoy the rain . Maybe you can tell us what it was like.

In east Cobb it only rained enough to wet the pavement - a light shower for 5 minutes. very sad.

Here in Buford, we had rain overnight. I'm not sure how much but it looks great!

Well the monthly rain was delightful. Now the weather forcast shows another week of highs in the mid 80's. This weather really stinks.

Cheer up. We had almost and inch of rain. Every thing looks like it just breathed a sigh of relief. Of course my neighbors daughter is getting married this evening. No rain for weeks and it rains today. LOL!

I got a total of an inch of rainfall over the last two days in Buckhead. A friend near Emory said she got only 1/4 inch over there..

I can take solace in that I looked at the forecast for WI and OH and some other northern places and they are forecast to have even higher temperatures and were warmer at the time I looked them up. So there appears to be no escaping it.

Oh, like I'd move to WI or OH for better weather.

Still, up to 88 here on Monday ... will it never end? I just want it to be WINTER.

I just took a peek at the 7 day from the National Weather Service and they have 88/Mon-Tues, 83/Wed, 73/Thur, 70/Fri, and 74/Sat. If we can hold on till Thursday things are looking better!

What about weds night when the come on and say whoops high of 87 and no rain.

This is going to be one of those seasons where it goes straight to cold with no in between

The forecast from weather.com is full of dismal words:

"A relatively moisture-starved cold front will trigger a sparse scattering of showers and thunderstorms over the mid-South, Deep South and southern Texas tomorrow. A few showers and storms will also dot Florida.

Meanwhile, behind the front, somewhat cooler and drier air will begin a slow but relentless push southward. "

Gee, even our cool weather is drier.

In the meantime, the radar for the southeast shows rain aplenty in other states. I guess it'll be all pooped out by the time it gets here.
