I saw this squash (?) in the international foods section of a local grocery store, and being a sucker for any new vegetable or fruit, I brought it home. Waiting to taste it until I can find out how it should be prepared or eaten.

It is about 5" long and the color of an orange. Skin is soft, almost softer than a cucumber, which I think it may be.

Can anyone identify this for me? Is it eaten raw or what?
