Does anyone have any suggestions for bulbls that work well under/around hostas. I am looking for something that will fill some of the dead space in my hosta garden in late spring/early winter, but is early enough that the hostas won't cover the floiage before they have stored up enough energy for next year. If they are not desirable to rabbits that would be a bonus. I have some ideas but would love to hear from anyone who has done this. The area is fairly sunny in the winter, bordering between partial and full sun depending on the exact spot. I am considering the following--

Puschkinia libanotica

crocus tommansinianus

scilla

Cyclamen

Glory of the snow

grape hyacinth

snowdrops
