I have been doing alot of research before I make my commitment. I have a 30ftx60ft area in a backyard, and 20ftx45ft area in the side yard that I am getting ready to prepare. The question I have is, which method have you found works? I have multiple Georgian stating that the weedless method works ( Newspaper, compost/mulch then plant), while some are swearing up and down that you need to tear into the soil each year with that compost instead. What are your opinions, as the ground I'm working hasn't been tilled before, and most likely is filled with clay.
