The weather is cooler, the windows are open and the whole house fan is drawing the wonderful aroma of the Angel trumpets scattered throughout my yard into the house.

To see the garden in the daylight we'd all agree it looks like h#ll. Everything looks weary and best and most are a little crispy around the edges. The brugmansia have lost almost all their leaves due to lack of water but they have put out a profusion of flowers. My house smells heavenly at the moment. I wish I could bottle it!
