Growing plants from seed book rec.

When my mom retires next May, she is hoping to set up a green house and start growing plants from seed, particularly natives. I was wondering if there are any good books/resources out there that I can share with her (or a potential retirement gift?)

I have several seed books, and this is the best for native seed culture
"Growing and Propigating Wildflowers" by Harry R. Phillips. You can buy it at Easyliving Wild Flowers, and other places. Remember that many perennial native plants need a cold period to germinate, so this might be a nice Christmas gift. Easyliving WIld FLowers is also one of the best places to buy native seed.

You might want to tell your mom about the winter-sowing forum too. I only dabbled in winter sowing last year, but had good success with columbines and hardy geraniums. And one lonely codonopsis. Think I'll try it again this year though.

Thanks for the suggestions, y'all. Easy Living Wildflowers looks great. Maybe I'll get her some seeds to start along with the book/internet recommendation. :)
