I wish I knew. My source has been bulldozed for a subdivision. I got some trees a few years ago at a tree farm in Elberta. Darned if I can remember the name. The trees are still small but I had some blooms and maybe will have a few fruits. If so I will share some seed but will definitely not have enough for jelly.

Pestee, is the link below where you got your trees? I called them once but it seems like they had very odd hours so I never made it down there. I did go ahead and order two seedlings from ForestFarm in Oregon, so at least I'll have those two trees (if they're still in good shape by the time they make it here). From what I have read, they usually come true from seed.

There is a nursery in Alabama, (Stone-Smurfitt Container Corporation) that produces mayhaw seedlings, (as well as other hardwood seedlings and around 25 million softwood seedlings every year. They will sell you seedlings, but are out for this year. There is a garden club near Tallahassee that sells mayhaw seeldings every year as well. I bought three of the mayhaw trees I have from Just Fruits and Exotics...good quality and my trees are producing. (4 years old), Bought 2 more mayhaws from a nursery near Foley, AL (might have been Alberta nursery). Best bet for buying fruit is to have the guys at the link below send it to you.

I have three mayhaw trees in my yard I bought from Maphis Tree Nursery in Chipley Florida...on I-10 past De Funiak Springs and Bonifay Fl. 1-850-638-8243. right now some bug or critter has taken off pretty much off the foliage. I hear I should not expect fruit for five years. Mine are going on the second year and are around 4 feet tall.
