Free Bricks

I have a neighbor to one of our jobs who has removed a good portion of brick wall. He has no plans to save any of the brick and would like to give it all away. Some have cleaned themselves in the demo process while others are still mortared together. It is a simple task to chip mortar from brick as we do it all the time although, it is time consuming. His conditions are that whoever takes it takes it all. Brick, mortar and bits left over.

On another note I have just thrown 700 clean bricks into the top of a 4' tall dumpster on another job. We sliced the textured portion from the front of the bricks making them 5/8" thinner than normal bricks but, still good for short walls or borders. The bricks we have are standard 3 hole red brick. The other bricks are a used brick style sort of orange and mixed in color some with holes and most without.

The 700 sliced brick are located next to Chastain Park in Buckhead (Powers Ferry at Wieuca). The other brick are located off Briarcliff road at Clairmont Dr (just one block off 85 N.). Your response to this post will generate an email to me and I will contact you back if you are interested.
